I'm A Mid West Girl!

Well Mommy and Daddy did it! We finally moved to Chicago! I rode on the plane with mommy cause I am a pro at that and Da Da came in a big truck with all our stuff. I finally got all my toys from the old house. I was afraid they would forget them! But I haven't felt like playing much because my gums really really hurt me! I don't know what's going on in there but all I hear is mommy and daddy telling me to "push those teeffers through those gums". I don't know what all that means but I know that I am in a lot of pain and I am craaaaaaby! Plus my whole schedule is off. Maybe we should just go back to our house. I miss my pretty pink room.

So my new house in grandma and grandpa's house is very nice. I will have to have mommy take pictures so you all can see. I have my toys, my Backyardigans and my baby Einstein. I am all set. I even get to sleep in the same room with mommy and daddy. Its like a slumber party.

I like to stand on my feet now. I can pull myself up on my tippy toes and see everything. Its great!

Well I will let you all know what exciting things happen around here. These dogs and people are fun to watch!

Da, Da, Da, Da!!!!

I can talk just like Mommy and Daddy!!!! I opened my mouth and "Da, Da" came out!!!! I have no idea what it means yet but when I figure it out I will let you know! Mommy was very disappointed that I didn't say ma, ma.... soon mommy! But mommy and daddy need to stop trying to get me to say it ALL the time! It gets to be a little much, them getting in my face and saying it to me. I will say it when I want to say it. You can't make me say da da when I don't want to!

I am really close to crawling, but right now rolling around it great! Before Mommy can even realize where I am, I am all the way to the other side of the room! Hehehehe and then when I pull on the cords from the floor she says "NO" she picks me up and moves me. I look up and smile at her. Then she smiles. I wonder what NO means???? Hmmmmmm

I just went on my 3rd plane trip. Yes I am a traveler! Mommy says some people don't even fly that much their whole lives! I had a great time in MN. First with Kelly, Gus and Paul. That is when I found out I can get up on my knees and rock back and forth. Mrs. Kelly kept putting me up on my knees even though I didn't want to any more. She said I had to get walking before mommy came back to get me. Hehehehe After that I went to Nina and Papas house. It was Papas birthday. I got to spend lots of time with them and meet my new cousins. But Connor was so sick, that Auntie Chelle and Tyler had to bring him home to get better. I know how that feels. I had my first cold and I am still trying to get over it. I had my first ear infection too. YUCK!!! That medicine they give you ALL the time is Yuckie!!!! But I think I am better know. I had a good time there anyway.

So our move is coming up fast! March 23rd is my last day in AZ. I am a little sad. I will miss all my Cousins and Great Aunts and Uncles! They will have to come to Chicago and visit me! One thing that I will not be sad about is this weather. It is Feb and we are ALREADY 80 and sunny!!!!!!!! What happened to winter and then spring? We skipped right over that and hopped into Summer. I need a little coolness back! I bet I will get some in Chicago!!! And maybe more then I bargained for! I hope I get to see everyone before I leave!

I went to my first zoo and horse show this week. I love animals!!! I pet goats and horses! Wow I want to go back!

My First Christmas! WOW!!!!

So, after I had my second plane ride since I was born I arrived in Minnesota to visit Nina and Papa. Although it was very cold, I didn't mind cause mommy bundled me up very warm. I had a heavy pink sweater my uncle Ronnie gave me. (It came it handy again when I visited Chicago. It was cold there too.) Then Nina's blanket she made me over my carrier gave me plenty of warmth. Too bad mommy couldn't sit in there with me, she wouldn't have been so cold! Hehehe

When we got to Nina and Papa's house it was decorated beautiful with a tree and all the Christmas decorations. Nina had her village out and Papa had the Christmas Cookies ready. Too bad this year I had to stick to my rice :( Nina and Papa gave me my very first Christmas present. It was a rattle but the paper was more fun to eat! I got to play with my cousins Elly and Hudsen. They put me in Elly's new baby stroller. They pretended that I was their baby and they were taking me for a walk. I can't wait until I grow up and play with them more!

The Vikings game was a little disappointing but I cheered in my outfit more then anybody. It was their good luck charm the next weekend cause they won! (Bears fans in Chicago were not happy I was wearing it but Mommy said we have to stay true to our home state. I listen to Mommy.) It was sad when I had to say goodbye. I hope that I get too see all of them soon. When we move to Chicago Mommy said we will see them more then we do now! Yeah!

Then it was off to Aggies' house to see Christie, Tyson and Ryan! I slept good for Mommy while she caught up on chatting with Christie. Then we met Jenny and Olivia at McDonald's. The kids had fun while I just sat there and listen to the grow-ups talk. I can't wait until I am bigger and can play! After that great visit it was back on the plane to Chicago. Well we had to make a pit stop in Iowa cause the plan was out of fuel and we couldn't land in Chicago until the the weather was better. We were supposed to be in Chicago in a little over an hour, 6 hours later, we landed. I really didn't mind cause I slept!

Then I got to see Grandma and Grandpa Jer. They were all there waiting for me. We spent the next few days hangin' out. More presents. And some from a guy named Santa. he said I was a good girl and that is why he brought me stuff. I guess I will always be good so he will come back maybe! (Mommy and Daddy hope anyway!)

We traveled all over to see different people. We spent some time at Gram and Grandpa Dans house. They made me a very comfy bed on the floor to play on. it was very soft and fluffy thanks to Grandpa!

The Bears game didn't go very well. I wonder if it was because I was wearing a Vikings outfit? Maybe? Maybe next year guys! I had fun sitting on Uncle Chewy's lap. he was trying to cover up my outfit!

And then the trip was over. I was so wired that I didn't even sleep ion the flight home. Poor Mommy and Daddy! hehehehehe And then I have my schedule so messed up I am a little fussy now. I hope that Mommy and Daddy understand, I will get back on track soon.

To ALL who had a part in my first Christmas, Thank You Thank You Thank You! I had a great time and look forward to next year!

Waaaaay Too Long!!!!!

I know, I know you must be all sitting on the edge of your seat wondering when my mother is going to tell you all about me again. Well, today is the day. And I have so much to tell you.

My first Halloween went really well. I went to my Aunt Bertie's house and spent it with Ethan, the Gladiator and Payt Payt, the Mermaid. It was fun. I did sleep some but daddy got me candy anyway. I have a picture for you.

I don't remember anything exciting in November until Thanksgiving. We went to Shelly's house in Surprise. We saw lots of people and Mommy and Daddy ate too much! I had a great time hangin' out with my cousins. Landon just loves me and kisses and hugs me all the time! You can see in the pictures!

Then the day after I had the bestest visitors! Great Gram and Great Grandpa!!!! They got to stay with me the whole week! Gram never put me down and gave me all my bubba's. Those are bottles, for all you cup drinkers. We had fun hangin out and Gram babysitting a couple times. We went to the zoo! It was cold but there were all these lights there! They call it Zoo Lights! I loved it. I got to see animals in lights and monkeys in the trees light up. Wow, that was the best. Aunt Bertie, Lex, Payt Payt, Ethan all came too with some of their friends. I am going to miss them when me and mommy and daddy move to Chicago.

My daddy friend Michelle came to visit me for a couple of days too. She is really nice and pretty and tall! Look at the picture! We will live by her in IL. She babysat me while Gram, Grandpa and Mommy and Daddy went to dinner. I think she is going to me a great mom. She did so good with me.

So I learned that when I roll to my stomach, I can roll back over again to my back! Its really fun! i started to eat this white stuff. Mommy calls it wice. I think she means rice but she seems to think that I talk funny so she talks funny. maybe she doesn't know that I talk the same as her. Shhhhhh don't tell her though, I kind of think its funny so I laugh and giggle. Then she laughs and giggles and we have fun together!

I am getting ready for my big trip to MN. I can't wait to see Nina and Papa and all my uncles and Aunts. I won't get to meet my Aunt Michelle and little cousins but I will soon. They are too little to come out in the cold. That's funny its not that cold outside here. I wonder how much colder it is where they are. Mommy says we are going to freeze our little booty off. Ouch!!!

Then I am headed to Chicago for Christmas and New Years! I get to see Grandma and Grandpa again! And lots more people! Too much fun. All this vacation and me and mommy are going to sleep the whole month of January!

Carrots!!!!

So I had a busy weekend. I went to my very first state fair. It was fun. Daddy and Mommy showed me all sorts of animals. When Daddy wanted to show me things I turned my head the other way. I was playing with him! Hehehehehe

Then we went to my cousins Birthday Party. He loves babies so he thought I was great! I wish I got a picture of us both. Mommy wasn't doing a very good job at taking pictures. I will have to tell her to take more.

Yesterday for dinner I thought I was going to get my usual bubba but instead I got the most wonderful tasting stuff. CARROTS!!! Wow were they ever good. I thought bubbas were tasty but these mashed carrots were delicious. I wanted to feed my self so I tried to grab the spoon from Daddy. He said "No, no, no" in his little voice. (I think he thinks that is how I talk, boy is he wrong.) Anyway, I got it all over myself. So off to the tub I went. When I was playing at the end Mommy gave me this yellow thing that floated all around the tub. She told me it was a rubber duckie. He was kind of cute but didn't say anything or do anything except float. maybe when I get older I will like him more. When Daddy took me out of the tub, I burped up some carrots. Then they did not taste so good anymore. I wanted my bubba again!

So this weekend is Halloween. Mommy says its too hot to dress up. So I will probably wear a cute onesie. I would sure like to see pictures of all of you dressed up. Most of you will have weather that permits you to wear a costume and not melt. We got to get out of the dessert!

Rolling Over!

So I know that Mommy has been really bad at keeping up with this blogg. So this morning I told her she had to write and tell you all the good news!
I am so excited! I found out that I can roll over. Its amazing! One minute I am on my back and the next I am on my belly. WOW! So here is how it happened:

Grandma and Auntie Beanie came to visit me last weekend. We had so much fun. All the grownups did face mask to make themselves look prettier even though I think they are all beautiful and they think I am too cause they tell me ALL the time that I am. So I think that is a good thing. Anyway, Grandma was really trying to get me to roll over. She was helping me and showing me what to do. She left on Tuesday and I thought what the heck, let me try this by myself. Sure enough, I flipped them legs over and away I went. But then I have this problem cause I hate hate hate being on my stomach. So when I roll over on it I don't like it. But Mommy and Daddy to the rescue. They help me back on my back in no time. But what do I go and do right away! Hehehehehehe back on my belly. I think I like to do it! Watch them come to my rescue!
This morning I found some really cute things at the bottom of my legs. They had all these little wiggly things at the end. Daddy and Mommy call them my piggies I think. I may have to do some more exploring with those when I get the chance. I will let you know what I find.

This weekend was all with Mommy and Daddy to myself. We went for a long walk in the heat. I sure wish it wasn't so hot. I thought this was supposed to be Fall. If this is fall I don't like it! But when we walked we saw all kinds of pictures made out of chalk on the sidewalk. All these artist were doing them and everyone was looking at them. They were pretty. Until I fell asleep cause I was so tired and it was so hot.

This Sunday is my cousin Landon's Birthday Party. Wow! He is really old now! But I bet I will have fun!

Well that's all. Not too much else going on. I heard Mommy and Daddy talking about how nice it will be when we move to Chicago cause then we will have lots of family around to so things with instead of being at home by ourselves all the time and nobody to do things with.

Chicago sounds perfect to me!

I Can Grab Things!

My Daddy and Mommy and Me went to Palm Springs for the weekend. We went to meet some of family. All went very well. I have other people that love me and I didn't even know it. Uncle Ronnie, Great Grandma Natalie and Randy were very nice to us. Randy was not feeling very good so we didn't see much of him (maybe next time). Their house was amazingly beautiful! We got to stay in our own little house in the back yard. I took baths in their kitchen sink. Grandma Natalie cooked wonderful food, or so they said. I of course just had my wonderful bottles.

Owwwwww!!!!! I forgot to tell everyone, I can grab things now!!!! I am so excited. I can reach these little arms way up and take things in my hand. So Mommy's hair, glasses, whatever! Very cool! And I think I may be teething cause I sure am fussy. Or maybe its just gas. Hmmmmm Who knows.

Anyway, back to the weekend. We went shopping, sat in the sun, they all played games. They looked at lots of pictures of daddy when he was a baby. He looks JUST LIKE ME!!!!!! You would not be able to tell us apart if he was 27 years younger. They all talked about the past a lot. They laughed and smiled so I think they all had a good time too. Uncle Ronnie said that he would come and visit me in AZ. Maybe Randy and Grandma Natalie will come too.

On Monday me and Mommy went and picked up the pup, Jada. She spent the weekend at Aunt Bertie's. I think she had a good time at their house. Spending time with Lexx, Payt Payt and Bitty. When Jada came home she seems very sad to be here. I can't wait until I can play with her more. I think she likes that and I can't until I get older. But maybe since I can grab things, I can grab her fur!!! I think I may try that. She what she does.

Well that was my wonderful weekend. I am going to be sleeping 2 more sleeps until Grandma comes!!! I am so excited! I hope she started packing already! And maybe hide Grandpa in her suitcase! hehehehe
