Carrots!!!!

So I had a busy weekend. I went to my very first state fair. It was fun. Daddy and Mommy showed me all sorts of animals. When Daddy wanted to show me things I turned my head the other way. I was playing with him! Hehehehehe

Then we went to my cousins Birthday Party. He loves babies so he thought I was great! I wish I got a picture of us both. Mommy wasn't doing a very good job at taking pictures. I will have to tell her to take more.

Yesterday for dinner I thought I was going to get my usual bubba but instead I got the most wonderful tasting stuff. CARROTS!!! Wow were they ever good. I thought bubbas were tasty but these mashed carrots were delicious. I wanted to feed my self so I tried to grab the spoon from Daddy. He said "No, no, no" in his little voice. (I think he thinks that is how I talk, boy is he wrong.) Anyway, I got it all over myself. So off to the tub I went. When I was playing at the end Mommy gave me this yellow thing that floated all around the tub. She told me it was a rubber duckie. He was kind of cute but didn't say anything or do anything except float. maybe when I get older I will like him more. When Daddy took me out of the tub, I burped up some carrots. Then they did not taste so good anymore. I wanted my bubba again!

So this weekend is Halloween. Mommy says its too hot to dress up. So I will probably wear a cute onesie. I would sure like to see pictures of all of you dressed up. Most of you will have weather that permits you to wear a costume and not melt. We got to get out of the dessert!

Rolling Over!

So I know that Mommy has been really bad at keeping up with this blogg. So this morning I told her she had to write and tell you all the good news!
I am so excited! I found out that I can roll over. Its amazing! One minute I am on my back and the next I am on my belly. WOW! So here is how it happened:

Grandma and Auntie Beanie came to visit me last weekend. We had so much fun. All the grownups did face mask to make themselves look prettier even though I think they are all beautiful and they think I am too cause they tell me ALL the time that I am. So I think that is a good thing. Anyway, Grandma was really trying to get me to roll over. She was helping me and showing me what to do. She left on Tuesday and I thought what the heck, let me try this by myself. Sure enough, I flipped them legs over and away I went. But then I have this problem cause I hate hate hate being on my stomach. So when I roll over on it I don't like it. But Mommy and Daddy to the rescue. They help me back on my back in no time. But what do I go and do right away! Hehehehehehe back on my belly. I think I like to do it! Watch them come to my rescue!
This morning I found some really cute things at the bottom of my legs. They had all these little wiggly things at the end. Daddy and Mommy call them my piggies I think. I may have to do some more exploring with those when I get the chance. I will let you know what I find.

This weekend was all with Mommy and Daddy to myself. We went for a long walk in the heat. I sure wish it wasn't so hot. I thought this was supposed to be Fall. If this is fall I don't like it! But when we walked we saw all kinds of pictures made out of chalk on the sidewalk. All these artist were doing them and everyone was looking at them. They were pretty. Until I fell asleep cause I was so tired and it was so hot.

This Sunday is my cousin Landon's Birthday Party. Wow! He is really old now! But I bet I will have fun!

Well that's all. Not too much else going on. I heard Mommy and Daddy talking about how nice it will be when we move to Chicago cause then we will have lots of family around to so things with instead of being at home by ourselves all the time and nobody to do things with.

Chicago sounds perfect to me!

I Can Grab Things!

My Daddy and Mommy and Me went to Palm Springs for the weekend. We went to meet some of family. All went very well. I have other people that love me and I didn't even know it. Uncle Ronnie, Great Grandma Natalie and Randy were very nice to us. Randy was not feeling very good so we didn't see much of him (maybe next time). Their house was amazingly beautiful! We got to stay in our own little house in the back yard. I took baths in their kitchen sink. Grandma Natalie cooked wonderful food, or so they said. I of course just had my wonderful bottles.

Owwwwww!!!!! I forgot to tell everyone, I can grab things now!!!! I am so excited. I can reach these little arms way up and take things in my hand. So Mommy's hair, glasses, whatever! Very cool! And I think I may be teething cause I sure am fussy. Or maybe its just gas. Hmmmmm Who knows.

Anyway, back to the weekend. We went shopping, sat in the sun, they all played games. They looked at lots of pictures of daddy when he was a baby. He looks JUST LIKE ME!!!!!! You would not be able to tell us apart if he was 27 years younger. They all talked about the past a lot. They laughed and smiled so I think they all had a good time too. Uncle Ronnie said that he would come and visit me in AZ. Maybe Randy and Grandma Natalie will come too.

On Monday me and Mommy went and picked up the pup, Jada. She spent the weekend at Aunt Bertie's. I think she had a good time at their house. Spending time with Lexx, Payt Payt and Bitty. When Jada came home she seems very sad to be here. I can't wait until I can play with her more. I think she likes that and I can't until I get older. But maybe since I can grab things, I can grab her fur!!! I think I may try that. She what she does.

Well that was my wonderful weekend. I am going to be sleeping 2 more sleeps until Grandma comes!!! I am so excited! I hope she started packing already! And maybe hide Grandpa in her suitcase! hehehehe

Big Girl Bath Tub

I LOVE bath time. I have it every night at the same time. Daddy will come home and play with me for awhile and then him and mommy will eat dinner. After that I know what time it is. BATH TIME!!! Around 7:30 they will lay me on the couch and take my cloths off. That is when I start to smile really really big. They take my sockies off one by one. "Right socky, left socky" says mommy and/or daddy. Then the diaper comes off. They slide me into a heavenly bath of warm water. It has always stayed right on the kitchen counter but last night was different. I was in a bigger tub!!!!! They still had me in my little tub but instead of having it on the counter it was in the big girl tub! I usually splash mommy and daddy and get them and the counter wet. This time I was so amazed at my new surroundings I didn't splash one bit. Plus I think that they had to move me in there because I was getting things all wet. I will show them who is boss. I didn't splash one bit. Hehehehe
I still got the wash rag full of good smelly stuff rubbed all over me and water ran down my tummy. Mmmmmmmm Daddy wraps me into the towel and we head to my room. The lights are low, the music so softly playing in the background. They rub me dry and then I get my lotion massage! If you have never gotten a massage, you have to get one. It is so nice right before bed. It calms me down and makes me a bit sleepy. Then I get my dinner. Although I am so sleepy, I usually fall asleep before I finish. I hear mommy saying that she wishes she could fall asleep while she eats, then maybe she could loose some weight. (I have no idea what that means.) I can feel their kisses on my head as I drift away to my happy place. They lay me down in my comfy crib. What a wonderful finish to a great day.

6 sleeps until Grandma comes to visit. I have a feeling that there is another surprise that weekend too. Mommy keeps talking about something. I wonder what it could be????Hmmmm

Lunch With Daddy!

So me and Mommy went and had lunch with Daddy today. We went to a pizza place called Nello's. I just wish I was bog enough to have pizza. I sat on Dads lap and every time he took a bite he pushed me closer to his plate and if I could just grab things, that pizza would have been mine! Soon, very very soon!

This morning I went to my Mommy's old school she taught at. I got to meet some of her old students . They liked me a lot but kept asking mommy what my name was. And they wanted to keep touching me so I played like I fell a sleep so they would leave me alone! Hehehehe (I learned to do things like that from my Gram) We were there because Mommy's friend Sonja was getting a bug surprise from Office Max. She was being recognized for her outstanding teaching with a plaque and $1000 worth of school supplies for her classroom. I bet Mommy was really really jealous. She loved teaching. But I am SO glad she is staying home with me. I love love love having her home everyday to play with me. Maybe when I start school she can teach at the same school I go to and then I will still see her all day!!! That would be nice!

So daddy finally got a cell phone. Wow I thought all grow ups already had one. I probably shouldn't have told you this cause he doesn't want people to know he has one. Oops!!!!He already put a picture of me on his screen saver. He loves me!

Well My future husband Guss has already went and got famous on me. He is going to be on the Target baby Registry. Maybe that means when I marry him, I get half of his big fortune!!!! Keep modeling Guss, I have expensive taste!!! Hehehehe I think I like Mommy's coach purses!!!!

Just Testing Them But They Won!!!

So, last night I thought that I would wake up and see what Mommy and Daddy would do! Hehehe. It was 1:00am and Daddy came right in (I think I have him almost wrapped around my finger) and he gave me some of my bottle I didn't finish last night before I fell asleep. Then I tried to stay awake and play but he put me back down in my crib :(... I didn't like that very much So I fussed and fussed. I just wanted them to come in and get me and play! I think I heard mommy's footsteps but then I was so tired from fussing I fell asleep. Its tiring laying in bed and fussing. They won this time but I will try again!

I am very excited about Christmas. Mommy and Daddy told me that I get to visit Nina and Papa in Minnesota for a few days. My Uncles and Aunts and cousins will be there! Yeah! I haven't seen Nina and Papa in a long time. They are going to be so surprised to see how big I have gotten. And I get to meet some of Mommy's friends from High School. Wow she went to high school a long time ago! hehehehe And of course I will see my future husband Gus and my future mother-in-law Kelly! I wonder if he has some good toys to play with????

Then after that I get to go to Chicago and see Grandpa and Grandma! Also Auntie Beanie and Uncle Matt and Gram and Grampa.

This will be the best Christmas ever!

Well I think its time for my nap! I am a little sleepy. Mommy took me for a walk this morning and that tired me out but I didn't sleep! hehehehe So now I think I have to give up the fight and rest. But I am so afraid I will miss something good. (all though mommy never does anything fun so i don't know what it is that I think I will miss) :)

So because I am not old enough to type yet cause I am only 3 months and 1 week old, Mommy is going to be writing everything that I am thinking and doing. Now I will be able to share my life with the people I love. So here is what is going on in my world:

• I had a great weekend with daddy. Mommy went out with her "Liberty Ladies" for Kelly's birthday and didn't come home until Sunday. So me and daddy went shopping, watched TV, played with Jada (that's my puppy) and slept. I decided to wake him up at 1:00am. I just missed mommy and he did too. We were lonely :)
• I got my first pictures taken professionally on Sat. Mommy and daddy are ALWAYS taking my picture. It's the like pap's are always following me clicking away. But this time we went to a studio. I got a new dress and got to lay on a bed of flowers. I will have mommy send them to you when they get them. We had gone to Target before that and I was so happy! Smiling away. But then I was getting hungry and tired so when it was time to take my picture, I had had enough. We will see how they turned out!
• This week with mommy is going to be boring. I think we have to grocery shop :( YUCK!!! lets see if I can be fussy and then mommy will have to leave. Works every time!!!
• This weekend I am visiting some new family that I have never met in California. I am very excited. More people to love me and tell me how cute I am. It never gets old.
• Grandma is coming to visit me in just 9 sleeps!!!!! I love when she visits. I wish more people could visit me!
